Reps. Steele and Goehner discuss governor’s proposed tax and spending increases

Rep. Mike Steele, R-Chelan, and Rep. Keith Goehner, R-Dryden, join KOZI Radio to talk about the impacts of not being able to communicate with the governor, legislation not reflecting the hardships of Washingtonians, and the experience of showing up to the Capitol after the riots in Washington D.C. Steele discusses the budget increases proposed by the governor, new taxes, and their implications during the pandemic. Additionally, Goehner raises concerns over the transportation budget related to the implications of decreased travel on local economies, toll revenues being down, and other sources income for spending.
